An update to our image gallery
I loved the old gallery that we had. I loved the hoverbox effect created by Nathan Smith of SonSpring and the blending of this technique with the Suckerfish Dropdowns menu. The effect was just cool.
But it began to be difficult to maintain this gallery. Between the fact that using CSS with Internet Explorer isn’t as fun as I had hoped, resizing every single picture, and missing some features that I would have loved, like being able to print the pictures, I just decided to use Gallery as a way to host our group activities.
The main feature that made me choose this application over the others is the integration it has with WordPress, the blogging application that we are currently using. What this means is that if you can add a blog, you can upload a set of pictures in the gallery as well, which should allow creative freedom to the authors of this site.
A nice added bonus is that I can actually upload more pictures and in a timely manner now.

I really like this new site. I am still getting myself familiar with it, but it is really cool. You are definitely a blessing, Ellis & have many God given talents.
Thank you & God bless.
